COVID-19 Protocol

We are taking every precaution to ensure that our employees and customers remain safe in this uncertain period. We take our essential role very seriously. This means that both the government and customers rely on us to provide their cleaning services. This means that we will continue to deliver your orders to you even in these difficult times. We are aware that you rely on our delivery services now more than ever and we appreciate your loyalty. Our staff have been hard at work to meet the increasing demand for our services over the past weeks. We are grateful for the hard work of all our employees at our operations facilities, who are making sure that our operations run smoothly and safely. To prevent cross-contamination, we have put in place the following protocol:

1. No-Contact Pickup and Delivery

To maximize social distance between staff and customers, we have established “no contact” pickup and delivery options to ensure everyone is safe. All orders are now accepted without the need for contact pickup or delivery. Two options are now available that require no contact:

  • At your front door – We will pick up or deliver the items without you having to open the door. You will be notified once your order arrives at your front door.
  • We will still offer this option at your concierge and follow the instructions of your concierge as to where you can hang your order.

When placing your order, select either “I will leave the clothes at the front door” (or “I’ll drop them off at the concierge”) options.

No-contact pickups or deliveries – We encourage customers to choose one option to receive their items “no contact”. However, if customers need to speak with staff in person, we ask that they keep at least 6 feet distance between them and customers. This is to avoid any contact. While you are picking up your items, our staff will hang or place your clothes outside of your door. We ask that you do the exact same for items we pick up. This is a simple change that we can make to ensure safety for everyone.

How you can help: Keep your distance from our staff if you have special instructions, such as. If you need to repair an item, please separate it and place it inside your Exclusive Dry Cleaners laundry bag. This will reduce the need for us to search your bag for the item.

2. Keep Our Team Safe & Healthy

Our staff’s health is our priority. We want to make sure our customers and staff are healthy. Our staff are provided with disinfectants and gloves to use during their shifts. Staff with concerning symptoms are encouraged to stay home. Our top priority is safety and health of our employees.

We take every precaution to ensure that our cleaning staff are safe and healthy. Also, we will make sure that your clothes are cleaned and disinfected after each use. These are some of our steps:

  • More thorough cleaning and disinfection of surfaces and machinery
  • Staff should be reminded to wash their hands more often and to use latex-free gloves when handling clothing.
  • Always keep cleaned orders separate from unserviced ones. This protects against cross-contamination.
  • Monitoring of flu-like symptoms by more staff before they start work.
  • All members of our cleaning crew must follow the 6 foot social distance protocol.

3. Our Cleaning Process
